SMS 10DLC services are provided by Public Fire Safety LLC, also known as Burn Permits App and B4UBurn Program. By opting in to receive SMS messages from us, you agree to these terms and conditions:

  • This service allows residents to receive burn ban status alerts, fire weather alerts, and wildfire notifications relevant to their registered location.
  • Local Participating Fire Agencies can also use this service to send targeted announcements, safety notices, and burn permit reminders to residents.
  • Message frequency varies based on weather conditions, active burns, and agency announcements. You can expect approximately 2-5 messages per week.
  • Messaging and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Check with your phone service provider for details.
  • To opt out of receiving messages from us, simply reply STOP to any message. You’ll receive a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed.
  • For help with the SMS service, text HELP to 555-123. You can also email [email protected] or call 1-800-555-1234.
  • We are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages from your mobile provider. Carriers are not liable for any missed alerts or communications.
